Not everyone can step away from work for two years of full-time school. You don't have to. Our program runs one day a week, on Saturdays, for eight weeks.
You help people feel better about themselves every single day. Patients remember their assistant — you're the person who makes the visit bearable.
Dental offices exist in nearly every town in the country. Health care keeps hiring when other industries slow down, and your training travels with you.
Keep your job, keep your income, keep your routine. Reading and homework happen during the week so class time stays hands-on.
Take a look inside the school
Our school is built inside a practicing dental office in Old Town Camarillo — a practice with more than twelve employees that has served Ventura County for over twenty years. You train on the same chairs, the same instruments, and the same technology you'll use on your first day of work.
Teaching is fast-paced and depends on your participation. Groups are capped at ten students per instructor, so nobody hides in the back row. An excellent textbook covers the reading — yes, there is homework — which frees classroom time for the hands-on work that actually gets you hired.
Stop by any time for a tour. Many of our students enroll alongside a friend or relative.
"I found dentistry through a vocational program, just like the one you're looking at right now."
Olga was born and raised in Ventura County and discovered her passion for dentistry — and for making people smile — while completing a vocational dental assisting program. She went on to earn her registered dental assistant license and built a career across both general and pediatric dentistry.
Drawn to the science of the field, she completed the extended functions program for Registered Dental Assistants at UCLA, and holds an academic degree from Oxnard College. Her commitment to helping others has taken her abroad on philanthropic trips, providing dental care to disadvantaged children in Guatemala and elsewhere.
Today she teaches the next generation of dental professionals — CADA students.
Every subject is covered from both a didactic and a practical clinical angle, with hands-on training on all the equipment, instrumentation, and materials used in our working dental office. All students receive in excess of eight hours of radiology instruction.
Meet Olga, walk the office, and ask every question you have. No pressure, no commitment.
Seats are limited to ten and fill in the order deposits arrive. Your deposit applies to tuition.
You'll receive your textbook and the reading schedule so you arrive ready for hands-on work.
Eight weeks later you finish with clinical hours, radiology instruction, and interview prep.

No. Most of our students come from completely unrelated jobs. We don't consider that time wasted — those jobs are the stepping stones that brought you here. What you need is an eagerness to learn and the willingness to keep up with the reading.
Expect reading assignments and homework during the week. We use an excellent textbook precisely so that classroom time can be spent on hands-on training rather than lecture. Plan for a few hours of study between sessions.
